Leads List report
A list of your recorded sources. The other report is the one that tells you which of them bring in money.
What is this report?
A list of the lead sources recorded in your company, with their status.
Where to find it
Reports → Sales Reports → Leads List, or /dashboard/reports/leads-list.
Permission: reports:leads_list.
It is a companion to the other report
This report shows what sources you have. The one that measures them is Lead Conversion — which tells you which of them actually bring in money.
Use this one to review your list, and that one to make decisions.
The difference from the screen
| Lead Sources screen | This report | |
|---|---|---|
| Used for | Adding, editing, disabling | Viewing and exporting |
| Access | lead:view | reports:leads_list |
Review your list
Open it periodically and look for:
- Duplicated sources? Like "Facebook" and "Facebook ad" — merge them so your data is not split.
- Sources you no longer use? Disable them to keep the list short.
- A new channel you are starting on? Add it before the campaign begins, not after.
Five or six clear sources beat twenty.
The data comes from invoices
The source is recorded on the sales invoice, in the Lead Source field — not on the customer.
Which means if you do not fill that field in while raising invoices, these reports stay empty however many sources you have on file.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does it differ from Lead Conversion?
This lists the sources you have on file. The other measures them — how many invoices and how much revenue each produced. To decide where to spend advertising money, open that one.
How does it differ from the Lead Sources screen?
The screen is for management — adding, editing and disabling sources. The report is for viewing and exporting.
A source is missing
Check whether it is disabled. Disabled sources disappear from the pickers.
