Store catalog: publishing your products

The catalog is the bridge between your ERP items and the products a shopper sees.

August 27, 2026store catalog • publish products • sync items

What is the store catalog?

The screen where your Pashkateb items become products on your storefront. Every catalog product is linked to a real item — price and stock come from it — while the presentation (name, description, images, SEO) is independent.

Where to find it

Commerce → Store Catalog, or /dashboard/commerce/catalog.

Permissions: shop:view to look, shop_catalog:manage to edit and publish.

The stats at the top

Three numbers: Products · Published · Categories. If Published is zero, your store is empty as far as visitors are concerned.

Syncing items

The Sync items button pulls your ERP items in as store products.

Important: the catalog does not update itself when you add a new item. Whenever you add items, come back here and sync. When it finishes, a message tells you how many products were added.

Syncing is additive only — it does not overwrite your edits to existing products.

The filters

  • Published status — Published / Draft
  • Enabled status — Enabled / Disabled
  • Search — by name or code

Two separate switches: enabled and published

This is what confuses people most.

SwitchWhat it means
EnabledThe product is active. A disabled product stays hidden even when published
PublishedThe product appears on the live storefront

Both have to be on for a shopper to see the product.

Use draft (not published) while you are still preparing a product, and disabled when you want to pull something from the store temporarily without deleting it.

A product is not showing on the store?

Check these four in order:

  1. Is the ERP item enabled? On the Items screen.
  2. Is the product enabled? In the catalog.
  3. Is the product published? In the catalog.
  4. Does it have stock in the store warehouse? The storefront reads only from Online Store Warehouse.

If the first three are fine and the fourth is not, the product appears but reads out of stock.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between enabled and published?

Enabled means the product is active in the system. Published means it appears on the live storefront. Both have to be on for a shopper to see it — switching off enabled hides the product even when it is published.

I added new items and cannot find them in the catalog

Click the Sync items button. The catalog does not refresh itself for every new item — syncing is what pulls in items that have not yet been created as store products.

The product is published but says out of stock — why?

There is no balance for that item in the store's warehouse. The storefront reads only from Online Store Warehouse. Transfer stock into it, or run a stock adjustment against it.

If I change the product name in the catalog, does the ERP item change?

No. The catalog product name is independent of the item name. That is deliberate, so you can write shopper-facing marketing copy without disturbing your internal records. Price and stock stay tied to the item.
